Petra Bencúrová is a PhD student of Neuroscience at Masaryk University where she obtained MS in Biochemistry (Genomics and Proteomics) in 2014. She works as a researcher at CEITEC MU. Her main research interests are molecular aspects of epilepsy which she studies in both animal models and epileptic patients. Petra is particularly interested in developmental epileptology, comparing molecular aspects of epilepsy in adults and infants. She is participating on other project including study of the relationship between prenatal stress and depression.
