Klara Holikova earned a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Brno University of Technology in 2012. Now she continues as a PhD student in Neuroscience at the Masaryk University. She works as a biomedical engineer in St. Anne’s University Hospital, on the imaging clinic from 2012. Her experimental work is focused on feasibility and reproducibility of new imaging techniques of white matter in health and disorder. In September 2017 she moved to the A.I. Virtanen Institute for Molecular Sciences (Department of Neurobiology) in Kuopio (Finland), as an exchange student of the European RISE project. The aim of this project was to study detection of demyelination and remyelination by advanced relaxation and diffusion MRI in rat.
